New and improved support for domestic abuse victims is available on a redesigned website.
The Herts Sunflower site has updated information for victims and perpetrators about how they can improve their lives.
A new section for professionals also provides guidance for people who might be working with domestic abuse victims.
In addition, it will create a forum for professionals to help share best practice.
Sarah Taylor, Hertfordshire County Council’s partnerships manager for domestic abuse, said: “I strongly recommend the new website to professionals who may need to know anything from where to report their concerns to how to support or safeguard people they suspect are being abused.”
Chief Superintendent Mick Ball, chair of the Hertfordshire Domestic Abuse Partnership Board, also encouraged people to visit the website.
“While for many Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate love and romance, for those in abusive relationships it’s not likely to be such a happy occasion,” he added.
